This book is an introductory to office automation systems, to create awareness of the different widely-used computer applications employed in organizations. In addition, learners will be familiarized with relevant methods of report writing, data collection, compilation, and presentation of analyzed data, as well as project management. 

This book is organized into four chapters which include an introduction to word processing followed by an introduction to spreadsheet before proceeding to presentation application and managing projects. At the end of each chapter, a set of questions are incorporated as exercises to test learners’ understanding of the principles, concepts, and terminologies in the IT field. A selection of practice questions adapted from examinations conducted by the School of Computing, Universiti Utara Malaysia is also provided.
