Globally countless visually impaired people finding it difficult to secure jobs as employers feel that hiring a visually impaired person may cause a decline in the productivity of their organization. This claim however often unsubstantiated and visually impaired people continue to face difficulty to secure employment. This book uncovers the obstacles and challenges faced by visually impaired people in three stages: the pre- employment stage, the initial stage of employment, and the current stage of employment.
