A prolific scholar specializing in political philosophy, Islamic governance, and education policy, he uniquely synthesizes critical theory with Islamic humanism. He is also the Chairman of IAIS Malaysia, a Think Tank under the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim. He holds a doctorate degree (PhD) from Durham University in Durham, United Kingdom in Good Governance.
